I'll work with your existing style guide or create a new one from your company or corporation standard literature. The following is a list of documentation products I can create, edit or convert using a variety of industry standard software tools. The tool of choice for long documents is Adobe FrameMaker with final output to Adobe Acrobat. For shorter documents such as proposals and abstracts, Microsoft Word works great. Final output to Adobe Acrobat is well suited for Word documents.
I use Macromedia Dreamweaver and Microsoft FrontPage for web design and development projects with a little CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) help from Bradbury's TopStyle Pro. Project versioning and file archiving are controlled and maintained within Microsoft Visual Source Safe
if necessary. I learned by using notepad, so I know the
basics and have earned the privilege of using the tools.
Products and services are priced by quotation. Rates are determined by time involvement with the project. One proof/approval cycle is included in the project quote. Anything beyond that is determined to be an update and charged as a new project.
Maintenance contracts are available.
Payment terms are net 10 days for normal design and development projects. A location fee and/or mileage will be charged to travel to client locations for acquisition of material or information. A percentage prepayment may be required on some projects. This point depends entirely on the project and is negotiated at the onset.
